Transition to Practice: Critical Reflection of Continuing Education

OSF HealthCare has access to high-quality online continuing nursing education courses. The Critical Reflection of Continuing Education series provides new graduate nurses an opportunity to participate in existing online nursing continuing and professional development opportunities.  In addition, the new graduate nurses will reflect on application of the new knowledge to their current practice.

Comprehensive Pain Assessment

Conducting a comprehensive pain assessment to guide safe and effective treatment. At the completion of this course, the learn will: 

  • Enhance the clinical practice and delivery of a comprehensive pain assessment
  • Support personal and professional development of nurses
  • Achieve OSF HealthCare initiatives

Target Audience

  • New graduate nurses participating in the Transition to Practice: First Year as a Nurse
  • Student Nurse 1
